Letitia Michelle Wright was born in Georgetown, Guyana, on October 31, 1993, is a Guyanese-British actress.

Young Letitia Wright first started performing in school theater productions.

She made her big screen debut in action drama film Victim (2011) in role as Nyla.

She got her television debut in BBC One medical drama series Holby City (2011) in two episodes: "Tunnel Vision" and "Crossing the Line", in role as Ellie Maynard.

Her breakthrough performance came as Shuri in superhero movie Black Panther (2018) for which she won the NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Breakthrough Performance in a Motion Picture and a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture, also she was nominated for two Teen Choice Awards and a Saturn Award for Best Performance by a Younger Actor.
