Julia Elizabeth Scarlett Louis-Dreyfus was born in Manhattan, New York City, United States, on January 13, 1961, is an American actress.
Young Julia Louis-Dreyfus first started performing during her years at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, in student-run musical-comedy revue Mee-Ow Show.
She got her television debut in sketch comedy and variety show Saturday Night Live (1982–1985) in various Characters.
She was youngest female cast member in the history of the Saturday Night Live, at that time.
She made her big screen debut in comedy horror film Troll (1986) in role as Jeanette Cooper.
Her breakthrough performance came as Elaine Benes in NBC sitcom Seinfeld (1989–1998).
