Young Ice Cube first started his career as a rapper and songwriter. He made big screen debut in coming of age hood drama film Boyz n the Hood (1991) in his breakthrough role as Darin "Doughboy" Baker. He got his television debut in Fox sitcom The Sinbad Show (1994) in episode "The Mr. Science Show", in role as Himself. He released debut solo studio album "AmeriKKKa’s Most Wanted" in 1990.
