Liza May Minnelli was born in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California, United States, on March 12, 1946, is an American hot actress and singer. Young Liza Minnelli began her acting career as a child actress in theatre and as a nightclub performer in New York City. She made her Broadway debut in the musical Flora Red Menace (1965) for which she won Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical, at the age of nineteen. She made her big screen debut in the romance musical movie In the Good Old Summertime (1949) in uncredited role as The Daughter at Ending. Her big screen breakthrough role came as Mary Ann "Pookie" Adams in comedy drama film The Sterile Cuckoo (1969), for which she was nominated for the Academy Awards for Best Actress.
She won an Academy Award for Best Actress for her role as Sally Bowles in musical drama film Cabaret (1972) opposite Michael York.
