Jurnee Smollett was born in New York City, United States, on October 1, 1986, is an American hot actress. Young Jurnee Smollett began her career as a child actress in American sitcoms, best known for her performance as Jordee Jerrico in ABC sitcom On Our Own (1994). She made her big screen debut in the comedy drama film Jack (1996) in role as Phoebe, with Robin Williams and directed by Francis Ford Coppola. Her breakthrough role came as Eve Batiste in drama movie Eve's Bayou (1997) with Samuel L. Jackson, for which she won an Critic's Choice Award.
She won two NAACP Image Award for her role as Jurnee in the CBS sitcom Cosby (1998–2000). She played Nicole Wright in HBO supernatural drama series True Blood (2013–2014).
