Young Christina Hendricks began her career in children's musical theater and as a fashion model. She made her television debut in the MTV series Undressed, Season 1 (1999) in role as Rhiannon. She made her big screen debut in the romantic drama film La Cucina (2007) in role as Lily, opposite Joaquim de Almeida. Her breakthrough performance came as office manager Joan P. Holloway in American drama television series Mad Men (2007–2015), for which she was nominated for six Primetime Emmy Award.
