Will Smith was born in West Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States on September 25, 1968, is an American actor. Young Will Smith began his career as a rapper under the name The Fresh Prince in 1980s. Will's breakthrough role came as a fictionalized version of himself, Will "The Fresh Prince" Smith on NBC television series The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air (1990-1996). He made his big screen debut in drama film Where the Day Takes You (1991) in role as Manny.
He was nominated for two Academy Awards for Best Actor for his performances as Cassius Clay/ Muhammad Ali in biographical sports drama film Ali (2001) and as Chris Gardner in biographical drama film The Pursuit of Happyness (2006).
He played James Darrell Edwards III / Agent J in Men in Black film series: Men in Black (1997), Men in Black II (2002) and Men in Black 3 (2012).
