Matthew McConaughey was born in Uvalde, Texas, U.S., on November 4, 1969, is an American actor. Young Matthew Mcconaughey began his career in the television commercials. He made his big screen debut in comedy film Dazed and Confused (1993) in role as David Wooderson. Matthew's breakthrough performance came as Jake Brigance in crime film A Time to Kill (1996).
He won the Academy Award and a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor for his role as Ron Woodroof in biographical drama film Dallas Buyers Club (2013).
