Elijah Wood was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, United States, on January 28, 1981, is an American actor and DJ. Young Elijah Wood began his career as a model and in commercials, at age of 7. He made his big screen debut as a child actor in science fiction movie Back to the Future Part II (1989) in role as Video Game Boy. Elijah's breakthrough performance came as Michael Kaye in drama movie Avalon (1990) directed by Barry Levinson.
