Christopher Whitelaw Pine was born in Los Angeles, California, U.S., on August 26, 1980, is an American actor. Young Chris Pine began his acting career on American television in medical drama series ER (2003). He made his big screen debut in the romantic comedy movie The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement (2004) in role as Lord Nicholas Devereaux, opposite Anne Hathaway. Pine's breakthrough role came as Jake Hardin in romantic comedy film Just My Luck (2006) with Lindsay Lohan.
He portrayed James T. Kirk in space opera films: Star Trek (2009), Star Trek Into Darkness (2013) and Star Trek Beyond (2016).
