Young Nicolas Cage made his big screen debut in coming-of-age comedy movie Fast Times at Ridgemont High (1982) in role as Brad's Bud, with Sean Penn. Cage's breakthrough role came as Smokey in drama film Rumble Fish (1983) directed by Francis Ford Coppola.
