Dolph Lundgren was born in Spånga, Sweden, on November 3, 1957, is an Swedish actor. Young Dolph Lundgren made his big screen debut in James Bond film A View to a Kill (1985) in role as Venz, with Roger Moore. Dolph's breakthrough role came as Ivan Drago in sports drama film Rocky IV (1985), opposite Sylvester Stallone.
He played Gunner Jensen in thriller action films The Expendables (2010), The Expendables 2 (2012) and The Expendables 3 (2014) with Sylvester Stallone.
He portrayed Sgt. Andrew Scott / GR13 in military science fiction action films Universal Soldier (1992), Universal Soldier: Regeneration (2009) and Universal Soldier: Day of Reckoning (2012) with Jean-Claude Van Damme.

Action films are an extension of Greek myths which have been around since Homer's "The Iliad". Everybody's life has some mythical quality. You struggle against obstacles, you fight to get to a higher level and there are great loves. With an action film it's just more apparent. That's why people will always love action movies.
